Geoff Brown became a part of Yardley Grammar School, if my memory serves me, in 1960. As a younger member of staff he became popular with pupils. Although he never taught me one could see the enthusiasm he passed on to my school cohorts, and the respect they had for him.
Following my "A" Levels our paths went different ways. In 2005 we met again at an OY56's gathering - a group of school friends that had started secondary school life in 1956.
Geoff had changed very little - his zest for life and humorous recollections of school life came in abundance.
He will be sadly missed by many he taught. God bless you.
